After recieving an email allowing us permission to shoot outside the maor house, we went down there with all of our equipment ready to shoot. However we encountered a few problems, although the weather was nice when we started to film we could not see the Artist as there was too much sunlight on the lens, which did not look professional. We tried to shoot from different angles but to have the manor house in the background, which was the most effective shot to suggest power and influence, we couldnt shoot. Also when we got there there was a lot of open planed grass land, which was well kept but did not give an impression of fame and fortune. We wanted the artist Anoop, to match conventions of rap videos for it to look professional, and to gain higher marks.
Also where the house was positioned and where we wanted to place the tripod to gain the most frontal view, there were trees and shrubbery in the way, making it impossible to shoot the shot we wanted, even after adapting the shot, as it did not look professional we decided not to film.
We therefore spoke about going down there on a different night, however we were unsure if even if the weather was spot on, how how we could get in and how much of the artist we could show without manipulating the pixels of the video.
